Mixoloco - Mixology Tips:

  • Brandy Selection: Choose a high-quality brandy with a smooth and complex flavor profile for the best results in your Brandy Alexander.

  • Crème de Cacao Choice: Opt for either dark or white crème de cacao, depending on your preference. Dark crème de cacao offers a richer, more chocolatey flavor, while white crème de cacao has a lighter, creamier taste.

  • Cream Frothing Technique: Achieving the perfect frothiness in your Brandy Alexander requires vigorous shaking. Be sure to shake the cocktail with enough force and for a sufficient duration to emulsify the cream and create a creamy texture.

  • Garnish Consideration: While nutmeg is the traditional garnish for the Brandy Alexander, feel free to experiment with other garnish options such as grated chocolate, cinnamon, or even a chocolate shavings.
